About Calvary Pamula Church of Worship
Calvary Pamula Church of Worship is a Christian church community committed to worship, prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship and sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
The main church is based in Seeduwa, with branch congregations in Pambala, Kuliyapitiya, Katana and Rajagiriya.
Over the years, the ministry has grown through local worship, prayer meetings, teaching, evangelistic outreach and special crusades. Although each congregation serves a different community, they remain connected through a shared spiritual leadership and purpose.
Our desire is not simply to hold church services. We want to see people develop a genuine relationship with God, find hope in difficult seasons, grow through the Word of God and become part of a caring Christian community.
Who We Are
We are people from different backgrounds united by faith in Jesus Christ.
Some members have been part of the church for many years. Others are new to Christian faith. Some come seeking prayer, encouragement or answers during difficult moments in life.
Whatever your story may be, you are welcome to join us.
We believe church should be a place where people can worship freely, hear the Word of God, pray sincerely and grow alongside others.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help people:
- know Jesus Christ personally;
- grow through the Word of God;
- develop a life of prayer;
- worship God together;
- experience Christian fellowship;
- find encouragement and spiritual support;
- serve others with compassion; and
- share the Gospel with the wider community.
Our Heart for People
Behind every gathering, prayer meeting and outreach event are real people with real stories.
People come to church carrying different burdens. Some are facing illness. Some are dealing with family difficulties. Others are searching for direction, peace, forgiveness or a fresh beginning.
We want Calvary Pamula Church of Worship to be a place where people are treated with dignity, welcomed with compassion and encouraged to place their faith in God.

We believe that God loves people and calls us into a life of faith, repentance, prayer, worship and relationship with Him.

We believe the church is called to care for people, strengthen families, help those in need and share the Gospel.
We believe Christian faith should be lived not only within church gatherings but also through our character, relationships, work, service and compassion toward others.
One Church, Multiple Communities
The ministry now serves through congregations in Seeduwa, Pambala, Kuliyapitiya, Katana and Rajagiriya. Each church has its own local identity while remaining part of the wider Calvary Pamula family.
